We are professional accountants; accounting is our foundation and our advantage. 

That foundational skill lets us take care of all of those things that entrepreneurs need to have done to satisfy governments or banks; we prepare statements, complete tax returns and look after many of the other things that needed in day by day business.
 
We either do it or backstop our client’s accountant.  We try to make sure clients do not have to worry about calls from the Tax Department or Irate bankers.

However, most of our clients want more than financial statements or tax returns.  These do not answer their business problems. 

They have to make decisions daily on larger issues. They think they know the answer but want confirmation.  They need to discuss their solutions or get input from people who have seen similar problems.

Over the years we’ve developed the skills to do this and we have built a team whose knowledge and experience are useful to entrepreneurs. 

Building this team took time.  We started by looking for people with the right attitudes and knowledge for our clients. They had to want to work with entrepreneurs and have that desire to help—to take care of things.
 
That search took us down some different roads. In our office today we have a mix of accountants with different designations: Certified General Accountants, Certified Management Accountants and Chartered Accountants.  One of us is also a US Certified Public Accountant.  And we have at least one who is a Certified Financial Planner.

We think that our team of people from varied backgrounds is one of our strengths.
